My Journey to Freedom and Confidence
My name is Caroline. I am a lecturer at a Kenyan University. I am a born-again Christian and I fellowship at one of the mainstream churches in Nairobi.
A dear friend of mine, Nancy introduced me to the Alabastron Renewing Self Programme. Nancy described the programme as a welcoming and non-judgemental space, where my voice counted and I would be heard.
At the time, I was dealing with the trauma of having been abandoned by my husband for another woman. I just wanted someone who would listen to me, reassure me and let me know that there is nothing wrong with me.

She also said that the programme would equip and help guide me back to finding myself. Additionally, the programme would help me get more firmly anchored in the word of God through its unique and interactive coaching style.
By the time I joined Alabastron RS program, I felt adrift, confused, angry, bitter, tired, hopeless and helpless. From the start of the programme, despite not being very clear about what it entailed, I was encouraged and reassured
I learned that God will vindicate me and restore me. My husband’s infidelity and abandonment had left me feeling that my rights as a married woman had been violated. Listening to the Coach renewed my understanding of God and what He wants for me. I started to feel a sense of worthiness.
Through the Alabastron RS Programme, I learned how to protect my emotions. I learned how not to live in the past and to stop pretending that everything was ok. I now delight in sharing my authentic self with the world. I have learned how to communicate my needs better. I am changing my thoughts and words to uplift myself and others.
Thank you, Alabastron Coaches for helping me overcome my fears. Thank you for your guidance through this programme. I have emerged from the Renewing Self programme renewed, dignified, lighter, liberated, re-energized, confident, more focused, uplifted, more honourable, more honouring of others and with a new name. My new name is FREEDOM CONFIDENT BLESSED QUEEN.
